Technology is opening doors for entrepreneurs to innovate in new spaces. At Switchboard, we’ve been expanding our knowledge-base in this field so we were excited to learn more about how combining purpose, profit and technology can be a catalyst for positive change and rapid business growth. We did just that at the VanImpact conference last week!

The conference consisted of insightful panel discussions, networking sessions, flash workshops and a “Startup Alley” featuring a host of grassroots tech companies. We also heard inspirational talks from speakers like Kevin Sandhu (Founder & CEO, Grow), who weighed in on what it’s like to grow quickly as an impactful startup, and Sam Goldman (d.light), who spoke on going solar in the developing world.

The Switchboard team felt inspired, informed and energized after spending the day discussing all things impact alongside 350 like-minded change-makers: investors, entrepreneurs and fellow members of the Vancouver Startup community.
